This December marks five months. Five months, two issues, three classroom workshops, and dozens of published pages filled with artistic content created by girls in our community (& region).
With Christmas and the New Year approaching, I am so grateful to be starting 2015 with so much hope for the magazine, for the creativity it endeavors to cultivate and the young female artists it wishes to inspire.
Thank you, reader. Thank you for clicking on a blog post, favoriting a tweet, reading one issue or both, and telling a friend.
Thank you, artist. Thank you for writing your words (drawing, painting, and photographing too). Thank you for filling our pages and reminding us why we are here.
Thank you mentors, friends, teachers, and staff for your enthusiastic support and passion. Thank you for blazing so many trails.
Well, thanks so much.
Wishing you a very happy Christmas and the brightest New Year,
GirlSense & NonSense Magazine
